ok. so this morning, as I was waiting on the final minutes of my Kickstarter Campaign to tick by, knowing that the goal wouldn’t be reached, and feeling really ok with it and a little relieved that I wouldn’t have to post that darn link anymore, this song came out of nowhere and demanded to be written. I share the rough demo just to say, that if a failed Kickstarter campaign results in a new song being born, then to me, that is not failure, but success :)
and this song reflects a new direction that my songs have been turning in of late, a lower, darker, softer thing that I’m interested in exploring.
to all those who pledged to the campaign and wished me success and called or wrote sweet messages to check on me today- you are such a gift to me and I am so thankful for you.

TWO good things to tell you guys about today!
1. My hubs and I are expecting our first little baby child this Summer, June to be precise. This is an exciting and crazy and new time for us as we prepare for this event that is going to drastically change our lives!
